Fire risk remains very high/extreme
Due to the current hot, dry conditions and extreme fire danger, CREA has placed portions of our system in fire safety mode in an effort to decrease fire risk. This means that members could experience an increase in the frequency and duration of outages. This status will remain in place throughout the fire danger season. By placing our system in fire safety mode, we can reduce the likelihood of an object coming into contact with an energized line. Thank you for your understanding and your patience.

New Research Upends Assumptions about Salmon and Dams
